Daniel Krolikowski

Daniel works on the kinematics, and planet populations of young groups of stars, with a focus on the Taurus-Auriga star forming region. â€‹

Danny is leading an IR radial velocity program with the Habitable Zone Planet Finder on the Hobby Eberly Telescope to measure masses of young transiting exoplanets and to identify new young planets orbiting young stars.

Nolan Elauria

Nolan joined us at UT Austin from Calpoly Luis San Obispo to work on identifying young stars from rotation in Kepler K2 lightcurves.

See Nolan's poster at AAS Winter 2020

Samantha Anger

UT Austin REU Scholar 2019

Samantha is a senior at Humboldt State. Over the summer of 2019 she worked with me on finding single transiting exoplanets in the Kepler K2 data of Hyades and Praesepe cluster stars.

She found 5 highly promising candidates that are now being followed-up with ground based observatories

See Samantha's poster at AAS Winter 2020.

Jordyn Mascarenas-Wells

Jordyn used Gaia DR2 photometry and parallaxes â€‹in a Bayesian model framework to assign probability of age and mass to stars in different patches of sky.

Jordyn presented her research at AAS Winter 2019 in Seattle.
